To be even truly the list of paper I was painting with salt exercises was bought a used one. So I do my salt experiment on already used list of paper (both sides of the list) so it defiantly was creating for the bin exactly. So it was 100% hopeless paining.

We never know where our art journey will lead us. But it will be so wonderful places if we just be wise to keep on going when the weather is cloudy.

My experiments. Part 1

I was exploring and learning salt effects for my next paintings yesterday.

I was not so happy about that paintings. But today this exercises and part of these paintings led to some amazing results I cannot be silent about.

Blog Of Art By Olga Peregood

Me in my creative space in Belarus. Single frame from YouTube vlog
I like my blogging!
I know there are just watercolor news here, but anyway... It organizes, it clears mind, it makes a wonderful feeling like you have a magic box and play with content in it, which you create by yourself. And also for me it is an excellent practice in English, he-he.

I headed my blog about painting in my fav medium watercolor. It is a magic medium. And if someone ever asks me how do I stay positive and energized in my everyday life I will just link them to my blog for the answer.

I still don’t know how it works and may be this is good, but I bring so much from my painting. I don’t know how it works and why. So if it works, I will go on, no matter why and how it works.

For painting you don’t need anything at all, just a paper, tubes, water and a brush. So this is simplest. So if there are not lake, no warmly sunny days, or wild life, horses, then I paint. If they are - I paint too.

I am not an exhibiting artist whom works are sells in galleries,  I am painting just to be inspired during the day, and I enjoy these moments in my life. I step my way, I don’t know where it comes and what waiting for me on it, and I don’t want to know!

Perhaps that is why I like my blog, because I don’t know is anybody read it. I don’t care and I am free.

Not every piece of paper ❖ ❖ ❖

My working space in Belarus is waiting for me
Not every piece of paper turned into lucky painting, nor every day brings inspiring time spent in studio. There are periods when all your tubes and materials seems don't want to work! But once you achieve a magic experience by working in watercolor you can`t stop. This wonderful feeling will call you back till the world ends.

Painting animals ❖ Squirrel

I never admit that I scary big formats. But somehow there always was a small size or even worse - a scrap piece of paper already used on both sides in my hand. My lucky painting animals likes these ones most of all.

I used all my paper that I bought from Belarus and there are only large heavy expensive lists of paper which I am afraid even touch. So beautiful that I could n`t cut them. So I had to make one little step forward into bigger format.

Easy watercolor painting of duck

As I recently arrived in Canada, thinking and talking and interacting with people through my blog was an excellent idea. As time goes by I fill deep connection with this place. So I am gonna step my way and making new interesting updates!

Lets talk about connection and my new watercolor favorites...DUCKS!

I live in the most beautiful countryside of Ontario. No day pass I didn`t see a new animal or a bird. These creatures are makes me laugh more than others. You can meet a duck family...swimming, flying, quacking. It is not a nonsense here…..BUT…. Onetime one duck (she I suppose) flew straight at us! She waddled around and watched at us like she has never seen us before, it was like "what r u doing here"?

Original watercolor "Curious Duck" by Olga Peregood
In this easy watercolor painting of a duck head this isn`t exactly SHE but I aimed to capture the emotion when she looked. It was simply painted from ONE layer. She looked at me so really that I still couldn`t add ANY detail!

I hope you like my "Curious Duck" easy watercolor painting!
I wish you a happy day!
